I really hadn’t said much on the blog but in case you didn’t know I MOVED TO NEW ORLEANS. Yea yea yea…I’m sorry I hadn’t said much but you know …packing and moving across country is CRAZY! I decided to drive from Maryland to Louisiana. I had most of my belongings moved by movers but some of my stuff I decided to bring with me in my car that I bought last year. Well…there was ONE ISSUE…my car isn’t that big. The trunk space is decent but when I got it a year ago…one of my thoughts wasn’t to move ACROSS COUNTRY. So, I didn’t think to research things like that when I was looking on sites like Cars.com.
As a single and childless woman, my first and main concern was THOSE COINS. So, most of my research revolved around functions like “What price should I pay” and believe me those tips helped because I walked out of there paying exactly what I wanted to pay…actually $1 less! Either way…even though I paid what I wanted…I had a twinge of regret when I loaded up my car last week. It made me wish I had gotten the Malibu which is slightly bigger or that bomb Equinox.
It definitely got me thinking of things that I will now need to consider when I get a car in the next couple of years. As I’m in the part of the country I want to be in and hopefully won’t be single and childless forever so my priorities will need to change.
My sister is actually having a baby early next year and I plan to go to Texas and swoop her up (the baby) as often as possible. That had me thinking…is my car safe? Cars.com actually helps you find out this information. Not only that, since last week was car safety week, I actually learned a lot about how to Install a Carseat on Cars.com because a young thug knows nothing about that.
If I’m going to be traveling by car to home (Arkansas) or my sister (Texas) I’m going to need to have space. I need to make sure those long trips are comfortable for me and my family.
- CRUISE CONTROL
Let me tell you what sucks…driving more than a few hours and not having cruise control. THAT SHOULD BE ILLEGAL. My trips would have been way more comfortable with it.I’ve gone back on Cars.com to read about my current vehicle and thinking of my new concerns…I may have gotten another car. Now don’t get me wrong…I love my little car. It was only my second car I bought…so I have a lot of learning to do when it comes to these big ol’ purchases. I’m glad to have friends, family, and now cars.com to help with that.
So what should my next car be?
