So, one of the things that I want to do this year in 2018 is to begin or continue really to lose the weight that I gained from my medication. Whole Foods and stuff

So I’ve been busy (read: lazy) and haven’t posted in a few days but I’m back. Last week, I only worked out one day.  I kept letting other plans distract me but I was very happy with my one workout.  Plus I worked really  hard to keep my water intake up where it should be.  I did continue to lose. Not here for it

I’m not here for quick fixes.   I’m looking to do this weightloss thing naturally.  Worst case scenario…yea there isn’t one because I’m gonna keep working. I see advertisements for those body wraps daily and people being extra into them.  I’m not interested.  It’s not for long lasting weight loss as it’s only stripping you of water weight really.  If someone is trying to lose those last 2 lbs to fit into a dress for something…do you, hun…but those are not for me! I’ve known people who have done the weight loss programs where you eat pre-packaged food and they become dependent on them.  Eating those meals at holidays years...

My Body is Ready

So I’ve been ripping and running lately and meaning to blog for days and have yet to…clearly. But, I just wanted to give a brief update.  I gave myself a week or so to take a gym break mainly because i was sooo busy.  I definitely watched what I ate during this time but I didn’t deny myself anything.  I’m used to not eating much. Juicing Lately

This past weekend was just…YEA!  Juicing did not enter much of the equation.  Anyway…back to the grind! I had juice for lunch yesterday…it was pretty good.  I got full super quick off of it and sipped it all the way to 3pm. Here’s a pic. It’s 1 beet, 2/3 pineapple, 3 carrots, 1 cucumber (small), 1 orange…YUMMY! Today I’m juicing again for lunch…but running around couponing for an hour wore me out.  I only had energy to cook not juice too.  So with no shame…this is my juice for today! They are definitely good in a bind…but not as the main juice!  I’ll be making 4 juices tonight to get...

3 Juices and a Lemonade

Yesterday I got home and knew I was only eating my pinto beans for dinner.  Yum!  I love pinto beans.  And yes I only ate beans and cornbread!  lol Anyway…this meant I had the time to go ahead and juice and make my favorite green tea pomegranate lemonade. I fresh juiced the lemons for my lemonade put I use the POM pomegranate juice.  So I got my water boiling for the green tea. I juiced two green juices and one apple juice with cucumber. I had the green juice for breakfast/brunch today.  I was still sipping on this juice at 1:00pm.  It’s starting to take me forever to finish these....
